Music Beyond the Concert Hall
Our Commitment to Community
At Queen City Chamber Music, we believe that music has the power to bring people together, inspire curiosity, and create meaningful connections. As a chamber music series based in Charlotte, we are passionate about making exceptional chamber music accessible to all communities in the Charlotte area and fostering opportunities for joy and togetherness.
Through partnerships with local schools, arts organizations, and community spaces, we hope to connect with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, bringing chamber music into new environments and creating meaningful experiences beyond the concert hall.
OUR APPROACH
Educational Outreach
We are committed to bringing chamber music to K-12 schools and universities, and we strive to always show students that they can make a life with music in it. By bringing students the experience of live chamber music, we keep our art form fresh and always growing.
Community Partnerships
We value opportunities to collaborate with Charlotte’s expansive cultural organizations, community centers, and art institutions to bring music into shared spaces.
Artist & Audience Connection
We aim to create the space for artists and audience members to connect more deeply to music through pre and post-concert conversations and community gatherings.
Let’s Connect!
We are always excited to connect with educators, community leaders, and organizations who share an interest in making music an integral part of our community. If you are interested in exploring a potential collaboration with Queen City Chamber Music, we would love to hear from you.
